Becky Lynch won the women’s Elimination Chamber at Wembley. LA Knight won the men’s Chamber on the second night. The July event gives each a major result after neither won the March Royal Rumble.
For Lynch, the change is particularly sharp after being the last woman eliminated from the Rumble. Knight’s Chamber win supplies his own major step forward. Two different journeys arrive at the same kind of result in London: a victory in a match where simply reaching the closing stage is not enough.
