My overall score: 8.5/10. Punk, Drew and Rollins all emerge with important victories, while the Hardys survive a crowded tag match. Fenix beating Penta gives their series another turn. This is the stronger kind of event card: consequences from top to bottom.
The card
Seth Rollins vs Jon Moxley — Seth Rollins won.
Hardy Boyz vs Awesome Truth vs Alpha Academy — Hardy Boyz won.
Penta vs Rey Fenix — Rey Fenix won.
Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre — Drew McIntyre won.
Tiffany Stratton vs Trish Stratus — Tiffany Stratton won.
CM Punk vs Gunther — CM Punk won.
Around the show
Tiffany meets Trish, Cody faces Drew and Punk faces Gunther. The three-team tag match adds a different challenge to a singles-heavy night.
Overall show rating: 8.5/10.
Penta won at SummerSlam; Fenix wins at Bad Blood. The brothers’ sequence becomes more compelling when neither man can claim an unanswered victory. It is a rivalry with results on both sides.
