THE NUMBERS

Ten wins. One loss. A 90.9% win rate. Nia Jax does not need a perfect record to make a frightening case for herself before WrestleMania.

The useful context is what those wins contain. Nia beat Jade Cargill to regain the Women’s World Championship at Bad Blood, then turned back Stephanie Vaquer on RAW and Lita at the Royal Rumble. At Elimination Chamber she retained against both Lita and Stephanie in the same match. Different opposition has not produced a different champion.

There is a qualification worth making: her successful defences include a disqualification win over Alexa Bliss. That counts as a victory, but it does not tell us the same thing as a decisive finish. A serious look at a dominant record should acknowledge the distinction rather than airbrush it away.

Becky’s Chamber victory gives the challenger her own argument. She earned this opportunity through a crowded field, and WrestleMania removes the need to navigate several opponents at once. Against Nia, the harder task is finding a route that the champion cannot simply shut down.

I would favour the champion on results. I would not mistake that for a guarantee. The 10–1 record establishes the scale of Becky’s challenge; it does not wrestle the match for Nia.
