CHAMPIONS FIRSTThe Hardy Boyz are done treating WrestleMania like a celebration of two legendary teams. Matt and Jeff’s message in Nashville was blunt: they intend to leave Atlanta with their championships, whatever that demands.
That is a better starting point for this match. Respect can make an introduction feel special. It is a thin substitute for a reason to fight once the bell rings. The Usos want the titles, and the Hardys finally sound as though that threatens them.
The danger is mistaking a harder attitude for a better plan. If the champions spend the match proving how ruthless they can be, the challengers could exploit the distraction. The Hardys’ advantage is their experience together. Their biggest mistake would be forgetting it while trying to send a message.
Nashville sharpened the rivalry. Atlanta will tell us whether Matt and Jeff have found an edge—or simply become easier to provoke.
