Will the Lucha Brothers have to defend their place in line?

Penta and Rey Fenix won the No. 1 Contenders Match in Omaha by disqualification. That result belongs to the Lucha Brothers, regardless of how much attention Chris Jericho and AJ Styles attracted around the contest.

The speculative question is whether the new pairing will try to insert itself into that title picture before the contenders get their opportunity. There is no announced additional qualifying match or expanded title match to report.

The Bloodline remain the champions. If another team wants a claim, it needs more than a memorable entrance into the conversation. I would watch whether the Lucha Brothers demand a direct answer from management.
