RUMOUR WATCHRey Mysterio offered Chris Jericho assistance after AJ Styles left their conversation in Omaha. Then Danhausen confronted and attacked Rey. Those two developments create a possible complication for a partnership that has barely begun.
Could Jericho feel obliged to help Rey in return? That is the question, rather than evidence of an arrangement. Rey is not a member of the Jericho–Styles team, and neither man announced a response to Danhausen.
My suspicion is that the offer will matter again. If it does, Styles could find the team balancing a title ambition with someone else’s problem. Watch the next conversation between the three; that will tell us more than assuming a new faction already exists.
