Rey Mysterio offered Chris Jericho his assistance in Omaha after AJ Styles left their backstage conversation. What followed was an entirely different encounter: Danhausen confronted Rey, cursed him, and attacked him.
The incident was a backstage segment, not an official match. Rey’s offer of help to Jericho also does not make him a confirmed member of the new Jericho–Styles team. The partnership remains the two men who appeared together earlier in the show.
For Rey, a straightforward offer of assistance became an unexpected physical problem. For Danhausen, it adds a new target to his recent activity. Their next interaction is worth watching, but Omaha did not announce a match between them.
