ORTON STANDS TALLRandy Orton stood tall after a backstage brawl with Trick Williams opened SmackDown Episode 14. Their United States Championship match is still ahead, but Orton left Omaha with the upper hand in their latest confrontation.
The encounter adds pressure without settling the title contest. Trick remains champion, and the championship will be contested in Atlanta. A backstage fight does not change either man’s official match record.
Orton can take confidence from the exchange. Trick now has to decide how to respond while keeping his preparation for WrestleMania on track. The next official result matters more than the last word backstage.
