Jacob Fatu will face Bobby Lashley for the first time ever at WrestleMania Night 1 on Tuesday, November 17.
Their names already intersect in Royal Rumble history. Fatu eliminated Lashley from the men’s match, ending Bobby’s run after he had eliminated both Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. Atlanta gives the two men a different setting: a one-on-one contest with nowhere to redirect the challenge.
Lashley also reached the Elimination Chamber after winning his qualifier in Athens. Fatu now stands between him and a WrestleMania victory of a very different kind.
This is a singles match, with no additional stipulation attached. The attraction is the collision itself: Lashley’s power against Fatu’s relentless physical threat. WrestleMania’s first night adds a contest that does not need a championship to demand attention.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosts both nights. The Night 1 kickoff begins at 7 PM ET, followed by the main show at 8 PM ET.
