Uncle Howdy and Aleister Black will meet in a Casket Match on WrestleMania Night 2. The announcement follows Black’s confrontation with, and attack on, Howdy during SmackDown in Omaha.
Black made the failure of the Wyatt Sicks central to his accusation. He questioned whether the group’s collapse came from a lack of capability or a loss of belief in carrying forward Bray Wyatt’s legacy. He put the responsibility on Howdy rather than accepting that the departures explained everything.
The attack gave that argument a physical ending in Omaha. Atlanta provides their next meeting, with a stipulation that puts the focus firmly on the two men and the history dividing them. The former group’s story now leads to a singles confrontation.
